text: After a brief steep incline we reached the village Holongba (Yangsire) which falls into several separate khels each with its own gate. Already in the first khel we were offered hospitality in two houses. It occurred to us that the population of all of these villages is very mixed. Many Sema and Chang live among the Sangtam and take on their customs and language. In both houses the women were of Sema origin.
