text: We stop on an open place in front of the morung and our bagpiper plays something for the still shy inhabitants which draws at least some of them closer to us. This morung and another one like it is not very interesting. It has nothing inside but a big totally plain drum. No heads are strung from it. However close to it in the centre of the village stands the skull tree, an erythrina, and several heads and bamboo cane balls with fringes hang from long bamboo poles leaning against it
