dancers assemble in Panso |
text: |
This afternoon however it became serious and around half past two the dancers gathered on a hill not far from our camp. Mills and Williams were both very annoyed that the spectacle woke them from their afternoon nap and they could not much appreciate the dance. As the families of all those men who have been killed by Pangsha remain in mourning until the end of the harvest and may not wear any ornaments, the number of dancers was not as large as what Panso can usually muster. |
