text: At the Thepong morung where I first went (89) I was immediately greeted by a concert. Several gongs of different sizes were hanging on the small platform next to the morung and some boys were entertaining themselves with beating them, either leaving them hanging on the pole or were taking them into their hands. The morung itself has hardly changed as the most important posts with the carvings have remained. Only some posts have been changed but the entire roof with long and cross beams has been rebuilt.
