A dozen times the dancers had encircled the place next to the Thepong when the four leaders left the circle and in small springing steps started to run down the stony street towards Shankok's house. More slowly the long line (98) of all the others followed and when the four had reached a head start they formed a row and danced in one place brandishing the daos. They continued this way to the Bala morung where again the procession formed a circle while the leaders continued their dance separately, only however to soon move to the head of the dancers again and to lead them to the stone circle next to the Balang. |
