text: In addition Yongem wanted another piece of head to have for next year for a genna when the Aukheang morung will be rebuilt. He is not accepting my objection that the head will be too old by then. Half-way we were met by Ahon. He said that the Shiong youth were waiting in their morungs and Yongem should call them. That now is typically Konyak. They knew precisely that I was coming and were certainly eager to get a piece of the head, but to speed up their breakfast and their dress preparations did not occur to them. However I did not mind the delay as in the meantime I could ask all kinds of questions of Ahon and could take notes.
