text: Now two boys bring a pig on a pole. It is slaughtered in the morung and soon is singed over the fire. The young men have gone into the jungle to get a stone. The noise in front of the gate indicates their return. There they now stand singing (106) and the slanting rays of the sun brightly light up the hornbill bird feathers in their headdresses, against the dark background of the tall tree shadows, as though they themselves were the source of light.
