text: The Ang of Chi is sitting in the house of the gaonbura, Chinyang. They came about the price of a mithan which Wakching (ie. all morungs together) had bought from Chi last spring for the Ou-nie and so far had not paid. The price of the mithan is 40 Rs. and today the Ang of Chi only received 20 Rs. In the afternoon Medzou comes to see me. I show him the objects from the tour, among them also the flat wooden club for the fights of a khel within a village. He says that in Wakching too, flat sticks of bamboo were used for such fights, and he promises to get me one.
