text: The clearing of the new fields had already been completed and therefore the people have time to celebrate feasts. Today the three Thepong, Angban and Bala morungs are genna and prepare for tomorrow's feast. Actually the feast begins today already, or for some has already started last night. Shankok seems to have enjoyed so much rice beer that today he complains about stomach pains and feeling unwell. (185) Last night the oldest man of the Khoknokhu came to his house and fed rice beer to the hearth stones and the main post while asking Ghawang for the wellbeing of children and children's children, as well as for fertility of the fields and animals.
