Later in the afternoon a stone is brought from the jungle to be set up with the other stones. All younger men go to fetch it in ceremonial procession and they come back after about quarter of an hour. Two of the youngest boys are carrying the stone which is tied to a stick. The other men are singing and two boys are beating gongs. The procession encircles the tree several times, not always in the same direction, but reversing several times at which point they let out a wild and hoarse scream. Then the older of the two Benbas starts digging a hole into which he puts (101) the entire piece of head received from me which is wrapped up in leaves, and with the help of the other Benba he sets the stone up above it. |

As soon as the stone is standing the two tie genna leaves to it. One of them pours madhu on top and he calls the relatives of the dead person to all come together here. While Shiong had put none of their head under their stone, and Longkhai placed only a tiny piece under it, Wangla in this manner has buried their entire part. |
