text: The rain last night did not stop for quite some time and into my sleep I heard the drops falling on my roof, but in the morning the sun came through the clouds and it looked as though all fog would dissolve soon. Sunshine was important to me today as I had sent a message to some girls yesterday asking them to stay in the village today so that I could photograph them. As a reward I had promised them red wool. Finally by nine o'clock all was ready for departure. The loads were packed and divided among the carriers and when I climbed up to the village the sun really was shining.
