text: The sky deity is Ha-rhang, the earth deity Hahi. (145) Before each meal some rice is set aside for both and they are asked to eat. In other villages Hahi's name is not mentioned on this occasion. Strangely enough "people who talk about me" or "people who gossip about me", not necessarily in a bad sense, are also invited to eat. (Notebook 10 p. 72). Even late at night the young men are still dancing in front of the Ang's house.
