text: The reason for the gathering was that the gaonburas wanted to consult about the end of a genna which prohibits the people of Wakching during the time of planting to take chickens, pigs and goats as well as any other animals out of the village to sell them. This genna now is already in force since planting started, that is since the 16th January. Due to the bad weather the completion of planting has been delayed. The gaonburas therefore want to complete the genna now with the new moon. It is remarkable that the Neangbas and the Ang do not participate in this consultation.
