text: In the meantime we have arrived in the field where Dzemang and his companions will work today, but although it is already half past ten they make no effort to start with the work immediately. First the fire is lit and tea is boiled in a bamboo cylinder. Probably to let the heat through quickly, one of the boy's shaves chips off this chunga so that one sees the light interior of the bamboo. While we are thus sitting in the field hut, the girls in the meantime have begun to work.
