text: In the afternoon I started to make a list of residents of the Aukheang. This is a time consuming occupation as I do not just write down the people who actually live in each house but also dead and married children. Although I could only finish with twelve households there were some remarkable results. Most of all I now saw that the Aukheang people do not at all take their spouses from the Balang to such an overwhelming degree as I had assumed. Of course I cannot make a final evaluation.
