text: | (194) A fairly fresh mithan skull was set up on a frame in front of the biggest of the Konyak houses. It came from a sacrificial feast which the owner of the house had only held a few days ago. It seems to be a kind of feast of merit as it gives the right to decorate the gable with two crossed staffs. There is hardly any difference between the other Konyak houses and those of the Ao. |
