I woke up to brilliant weather. The sky was cloudless and the morning sun warmed my tent through the pale green leaves of the tall trees. Bird calls and trills came from the branches and cheerful barking gave away the vicinity of a band of huluk monkeys. The jungle however looks like the spring forest in a fairy tale. Huge trees are covered with white and pink blossoms right next to deep red goblets which flame up on leafless branches and the tall crowns of the palms quietly tremble in the soft wind. I have breakfast in the shade of my tent and then I write a few letters which I sent to Borjan. |
