text: In Namsang too it is now the custom to bury the dead. It is true that once there was a Government suggestion made in this respect but no other village paid any attention to it. One grave is very close to the houses. It is fenced in and a protective roof of palm leaves has been set up immediately above the ground. After about a month the head is dug up and cleaned. It is then kept in the house until the final burial.
