text: Apong the dobashi of Wanching came in the afternoon. I told him about Namsang and also mentioned the myth of the flood. Apong declared that this is not an old Konyak tradition but that the people of Namsang have heard the story of the boat from their Christian neighbours. (But Ahon too knows a flood myth, but without the boat). (See notebook 4 p. 149).
