text: Yesterday already Likau, the Ang's wife, had greeted me very cheerfully. When I entered her living quarters unexpectedly she was only wearing the short apron, but later she at least had wrapped a cloth around her hips. I asked whether I might photograph some women today doing their most important tasks and this was gladly complied with.
text: Ngapnun, the girl of the Ang clan who I had already noticed last time, and some of her friends were grooming themselves and each other in the yard of the Ang house which already gave me a chance to take several photographs
