text: There is the belief in Wakching that a gong should not be on its own in a house as otherwise the owner would have bad luck and no children. (59) A pair of gongs may be owned by Ben people as well. Nevertheless the gongs are looked upon with a certain degree of caution and carrying a gong is better paid than the carrying of anything else.
