text: The people of Wakching are lucky. Just as Chinyang had predicted the weather is beautiful during the Oulingbu. That is unusual for the end of April as the rains' statistic indicates. This morning the weather was brilliant and I went to the village early. At the Oukheang the young men were just putting on their ornaments for the dance. Today it is their day, they and the Bala will perform the "Great Dance". Nothing much was happening in the Angban and Balang and so I turned immediately to the Bala.
