text: During the stroll through the village I noticed how different the house shapes are. Unlike in Wakching not all houses have a low roof which is curved in front, but some are open at the front and project like a morung. In some houses this open gable is then covered again by a slanting wall similar to what I have seen in Namsang. The Ang's house finally (118) has a front just like a morung with carved posts painted red, white and black. A huge post in the shape of an elephant's head stands in the front hall
