text: Today I was occupied with genealogies. Shankok knows surprisingly much about his family and even a rare case, the name of his great-grandfather. At the big annual feasts he gives presents of pork and rice to his grandfather's sisters. This is his responsibility because they have married from his house and not Dangba's who is the son of his grandfather's brother and the great-aunts concerned. The Ang, Chinkak, was a total failure and did not even know his grandfather's name. As he never sees his relatives in Chi he has forgotten almost all their names.
