text: Yesterday I received some colour film from Agfa and as the sun was shining in the morung I went into the village to take some photographs but there were not many scenes with colourful settings and I was glad when I could photograph a Wanching man in the afternoon dressed up with some of my ornaments. I finished the word list today which was a great relief to me, otherwise not much was happening. In the morning the village was completely deserted. Not a soul was in the Thepong morung. In front of the Bala there was one single man. I was wondering where the fire watchers were today.
