There were originally four separate settlements, which combined and formed the present village of Chezu-Nasami.

Therefore Chezu-Nasami has four Thevos, but there are only 3 khels.
The Thevos are:
1. Meshusahi, who belongs to the Chizomi clan. His ancestor came from Rangazumi.
2. Vetetso, who belongs to the Chizomi clan too. His ancestor came also from Rangazumi, but made a separate settlement.
3. Ngosani, whose ancestors came from Ngasapeo, which is now an abandoned site.
4. Netsoho, whose ancestors came from Rangazumi too and made a separate settlement.

The whole village of Chezu-Nasami keeps the funeral gennas for any of these four Thevos. But they get shares of meat only from their particular part of the community.

Chezu-Nagwami, the original village has only one Thevo. This is a separate village with separate gennas. It lies a few hundred yards from Chezu-Nasami on a hill of its own.
