text: Funeral ceremonies:
text: When a man dies they fell a large tree and hollow it out. They make a coffin out of it and keep it in their houses about 4 feet raised from the floor and make a fire under it and let it burn about one month. After a year they put all the bones into an earthen pot. (30) The pot has about 50cm. in height. The pots are put into the granary. The pots have a hole in the edge of the lid, through this a string is led, which fixes the lid.
