text: If a man goes hunting and fires at an animal only wounding it, then he goes home and makes a sacrifice of one chicken for Ghawang, as he thinks that Ghawang may be displeased. [] (189) Before a hunter goes hunting he may perform the chicken sacrifice described in NB. []
text: Some people make a sacrifice for the net they use for fishing and sprinkle the blood on the net and say: "Ghawang, catfish, he-fish, ngon-fish, shon-fish, all all give" [konyak].
