text: (50) Chintang:
text: The second day of the Ou-ling-bu. Yesterday the pigs were killed, today the people eat and drink. 10:15 a.m. in the Ang's house:
text: In the men's room where guests are received: the Ang, the small Ang, the Ang of Wanching, one gaonbura and an old man are sitting near the fire. Some of them drink tea, others are chewing betel.
text: Shankok and Yongem eat on a machan inside the room. This machan is newly built, apparently for guests. They are given rice and pork. Four other Wakching men sit also on the machan chewing betel. The small Ang brings a wooden dish with (51) pork and puts it on the suspended bamboo platform over the fire.
text: In the next room are the women and the children and [they] make a continual noise.
text: The small Ang gives leaf cups to all the Wakching men (six of Shankok's gang have come). He pours some madhu out of a big flask into a big plaited open dish.
