text: When a head was brought in it was first put on the log drum where is remained for one night and one day, then it was taken to the head tree. When the flesh had (44) rotted away the head was taken to the morung, a pig was killed and a great feast held, and then the head was divided between the people who had helped taking it. The pieces of the skull were taken to the houses of those men. There are only two head trees (fig trees) in the village, one near the Khangkai and one near the Lingba morung.
