text: The Tanghaba morung was at first built in the same style as the Wakching morungs. But many men of the morung died. Then an omen was taken and it was said that the men wouldn't die any more if they built the morung in the style of a Wakching house (ie. in the style of Namsang morung). Thus the Tanghaba morung has now a roof coming down over the front. The morungs of Kamahu, Tangsa, Yungya, Totok, Chongwe, Chen (?) are like the Wakching morungs.
