The Maniekba, a man of Bishanghu clan, who makes gennas for the rice. At the Moirhem, a genna when the rice is about one foot high, he sacrifices one pig and one chicken in front of the morung. [konyak]. (91) The Medniekba, a Shungtokhu man, acts at a genna after rice harvest, the Medniekbu. All the young men go hunting and bring whatever they get to the genna-place outside the village fence. There the Medniekba pours out some madhu and says: [konyak]. |
