text: Ou-rhing-bu, the great genna at the time of sowing. It is not interlinked with the first sowing however, but rice is sown before and after it. It lasts four days.
text: The first day - Wakcho (pigs' killing day) on that day mithans, buffaloes, pigs and cows are killed and eaten. Madhu has been made before. The animals are killed by the oldest men of the clans. The pigs are killed with a panji, the other animals with a spear or a dao in front of the houses. The pigs must not be brought (16) to the morung before killing them (as in Wakching). Nothing is said when killing the animals, this was stated by several men. The second day - Geng-sha (genna day). Nothing is done but eating and drinking. The boys eat in the morung. The other people visit each other in their houses and eat together. The third day - Geng-niu, is spent in the same way as Geng-sha. (17) The fourth day - Wen-shau-bu (fire day?) on this day all the friends of Pungkhung men who have come from Tanhai, Longkhai and Oting go back to their villages.
