After the Yem-ba has built his field house, three days nobody builds any, then the Ang's field house is built and all the other people build theirs. The Yem-ba does also the first sowing. The Yemba does also the first reaping. (98) When men of several clans eat together it is the Yemba who eats first. The Khoi-lim and the Wang-him and the Wang-hu-him clan don't intermarry. For the Khoi-lim was called from Chi by the Wang-hu-him people "to live with them like elder and younger brothers". There is a tradition that the first man came out of a gourd. |
