text: There is no official for cutting the trees for morung posts and drums. The former are cut by the young men of the morung and an omen is taken who should cut the tree for the drum. (113) There are two Benbas, one in each morung, one of Nahim clan, the other of Ligam-him clan. The office goes from father to son. The Benbas kill the animals at morung gennas. They make gennas for illness. They dispose of the dead bodies, and they function when a head is brought in.
