text: (97) Bears are hunted by individuals with a gun or bow and spear, but are said to be very dangerous. Wild pig are hunted in the following way. When a sow or several sows are discovered in the jungle and the people have made certain where they are, they block all the ways out with egg shells put up on small bamboos. The pigs don't dare to pass these egg shells. Then all the men of the village are called together and ring the pigs and kill them with spears. [konyak]. text: Shepwup-bu = a bear trap. A bamboo cylinder is plaited around the tree and kept in position only by a small stick. Yak fruits are fastened in the tree. When the bear climbs up the bamboo work it slides down and the bear falls on the panjis. (SKETCH P.98
