(126) Yaha meang taibu - the soul of the man goes to Yimbu yaha = the soul, which is invisible and leaves the body in dreams and after death. |

meang dzeang = soul, it is said to be only another word for yaha. Yaha means also "shadow", meang dzeang means "shadow" too. The yaha goes to Yimbu and lives there another life like the one on this earth. He dies (127) again but people don't know what happens then, whether the yaha lives on or ceases to exist. People live in Yimbu with their first wives. When a woman dies it is likely that her husband will die after seven years on the same day; if he survives that day he will live long. |
