text: (47) Bei-gui-i-lep is a cuckoo (probably hawk cuckoo) which gives the signal for the sowing of rice.
When the lechu (a cicada) calls the millet is ripe.
When the muyak (a cicada) calls the rice is ripe.
Ming-ming-nio-ha, another cicada, calls in the evening.
Kokshang calls when the ears of the millet come out.
