text: (185) Song at the dragging in of a drum: [konyak]. (186) When the Bala cuts a drum the Benba does the first stroke. The Benba of the Bala is a Thepong man, Dang-wem of Wem-nok clan. He receives a piece of the back of the sacrificial animal which he kills. (187) When the Balang or Bala is rebuilt two buffaloes are killed.
