(22) Mei-hong-nyu gave birth to men, tigers, elephants and all the animals. She had no husband.

Some of the people of Kanching came from Lou-kom (Nankam), others came from Pian-kong.

Formerly Tamlu, Anaki etc. had no Angs. Now they have an Ang from Wanching and pay tribute to the Wanching Ang.

The men of Tamlu and Kanching work for the Ang of Tamlu on his fields. After harvest the rich men make gennas and kill pigs and cows, then they give one leg to the (23) Ang.

At harvest time one pig and one chicken is killed in front of the field house, with the words: "May we get more rice, be kind to us". This is said to Ga-shi and the pig offered to him.

When Ha-kang and Ga-shi go on well with each other, men also will be well. Both see what men do. If they are angry, men fall down from the trees and die apothia deaths.

After death the la-ang-ha goes to Moi-he, the village they first came from, and there they go again. When Ga-shi catches in the fields or the jungle a la-ang-ha, the man becomes ill.
