text: (48) Informant: A-shung, Ang of Tamlu.
text: Tamlu receives every year 5 small baskets of rice as tribute from Tangsa.
text: Tangsa has no Ang. Tangsa has the same language as Tamlu.
text: Names of the clans in Tamlu:
1. Moklang (came from Merangkong and Chantongnia)
2. Shikabang (came from "Abol" ( = Yungya), Kamahu, Tangsa).
3. Niam (cf. Yinniushang, then Yungya)
4. Ngonien-hu (cf. Yungya, Kamahu and from Ao villages).
5. Meko (cf. Yacham)
6. Wumshake (Yiniushang, Yungya)
text: (47v) There was a discussion between Apong and the Tamlu men about the Wumshakhu. Apong says the clan is called Bhumshakhu (as a clan in Yungya). (Bhum = tribute - the tribute paying clan)
(Wum = stomach or belly).
