text: [konyak].
text: The Mau-shu-leu-pei (rich-remaining puja), the third feast of merit is done after clearing and burning the new fields. The sacrificer first makes madhu, pounds rice and makes all preparations, all this lasts 12 days. (53) Then the whole village is genna for 6 days.
text: 1st genna day: the first day the young men of the morung cut the sinews of the legs of two mithans. Then the Niam-gam-bu, a man of Noklang clan, kills the mithans with a spear and says: [konyak].
text: 2nd genna day: all the men and women come together and eat and drink of the whole village. (54) The third day the young men of the morung and the men of the sacrificer's sib make the ornaments on the roof, which are similar to the ornaments on the Tangsa morung. The house-posts with the carved mithan heads were made and dragged in, and put up before the gennas begin.
text: The fourth day, the men and women of the sacrificer's sib go to a small brook where they wash themselves and clean their teeth. (55) The fifth day the sacrificer and his family prepare everything and cook food for feeding the people next day.
text: The sixth day all the men and women of the whole village go to the fields of the sacrificer and clear them. He kills on the fields one cow and one pig, ie. a man of Noklang clan kills them in his name. He says the same words as when killing the mithans, to Ghagang.
