The Circuit House lies at the highest point on a beautiful spot. It is cool and very pleasant. There are electric lights and a modern - so not completely working bathroom. |

Soon after our arrival several officials came to see us. Mr. Dam, the acting D.C., and the (28) Secretary to the District Council, Mr. Doalagupu, brother of the official I had met on August 8th. Some of them knew my name, and were surprised that I was the same man whose book they knew. Doalagupu, a Dimasa, himself, was most helpful. |
