text: At about 3 pm nearly the whole field was reaped and the first loads of rice were carried to the village. - We had a good meal of boiled rice and fresh vegetables together with a tiny piece of duck, and there were raw cucumbers to eat. The men also boiled tea-leaves and the bitter drink was certainly refreshing.
