After the omen of the bamboo sticks had been taken, the food brought by the men and that was provided by the Ang's household was being served. There was rice, pork, smoked rats, bamboo shoots and rice-beer. The food was served on large leaf-platters spread on wicker stools and five to three men sat round each platter.
