text: Jorhat, 9th September
text: This morning I recorded an interview for All India Radio, - the Minister asking questions.
text: We left Mon at 10.30 am and drove straight without stopping to Jorhat. It was hot and the journey seemed long, even though we arrived in good time just after 3 pm. We first went to the NEFA Circuit House and then to the D.C., a Mr. Naidu of the Hyderabad family, who knew all about me having visited - when under training - Borgampad and the Hill Reddis.
text: My forward journey is all arranged, and I'll leave tomorrow for Lilabari.
text: Mr. Bedi, in whose jeep I came, managed to get my tape recorder repaired. Fortunately it had recorded all the time and only the playback was out of order.
