There was an Ang of great clan in Totok, he had come from Chinglong and was called Yalo. The villagers were not happy with him, because he proved weak. They wanted to get a more powerful Ang and went to Tang, to ask for an Ang. The ruling Ang of Leangha was of the Tang family, so the Tang Ang said "Go to Leangha and ask for an Ang". They did so and obtained Manyai as their Ang. Yalo remained and became subject to Manyai. Both were of great Ang clan. Both Yalo's and Manyai's daughters are still in Totok. There is no conflict between the two Ang families; this was 11 generations ago. The present Ang is Yanglen, and he is married to a wife of Sheangha Chingyu's great Ang family. Yalo's descendant is Pongyo, his wife is of Totok of Wangsha clan, sister of the dobashi. He is not a great Ang. |
