text: To Sakhai. I noticed that Vishyepu, which is about the most southerly of Sema villages here and borders on the Angami country, has made a lot of excellent terraces on its own account copied from the Angamis next door. At Sakhai a lot of people came in with complaints involving transfrontier villages and several of our villages have land disputes with independant villages, and in two cases no one could tell me whether the land involved was inside or outside our border.
text: Livelho Gaonbura of Khuivi put in a claim to get free labour from the villages by hereditary right. I allowed him two days free labour in the year. He is only the 2nd chief. The principal Chief gets 8 days.
