text: To Tamlu. Several trans-frontier villages came in here. Yacham and Kamahu are at war over a boundary dispute. Kamahu will probably suffer considerably, but it is their own fault as the dobashis could have settled the matter if their claims had been less extravagant. On the last occasion of war between these two villages Kamahu was attacked by many villages friendly with Yacham and would have been exterminated if Mr. Williams had not interfered. I hope I may be able to keep other villages out of the dispute.
