To Jakhama to settle a boundary dispute between Jakhama and Mima. |

Halted Jakhama. The case was complicated and partly arose from a bad decision by a former E.A.C. who had not even taken the trouble to correctly record the order given, and as that order rested on a village oath I was not able to go behind it, but patched it up as well as I could. I am afraid it will not prevent future disputes, I went first to Jakhama to see one side of the valley and then came back and went out to Mima on the opposite spur to see the other side. The order will be found recorded in Political Case No. 9 of 1917. |
